Second Chance follows the story of Pedro, a millionaire, who at the age of 67 marries the young and beautiful Isabel. Everyone is skeptical of Isabel’s intentions but on the surface she appears to love him with great devotion. Shortly after the wedding, Pedro dies suddenly of a heart attack. However, due to the twists and turns of fate, a young farmhand dies at the same time as Pedro, allowing Pedro’s spirit to enter his body and continue living.
Based on a proven format, this is the story of Poramate, a wealthy 60 year-old man who seemingly has everything but harbours certain doubts and regrets on some of his past decisions. When Poramate suddenly dies though, all is thrown to the wind. However, he still clings fiercely to what he has lost and his soul returns in the body of another younger man, named Song.
