George Cruz is a famous screenwriter whose life is in shambles due to the passing of his mother, his wife’s abandonment and his inability to write another hit movie. He travels to Mexico to fulfill his mother’s last wish, not knowing he would meet the love of his life and writing muse, Carmen Jurado. Their budding romance changes their life and careers, but when Carmen’s family decides to move into George’s Beverly Hills mansion, chaos begins to erupt between the Cruz and Jurado family. It is a beautiful love journey filled with non-stop laughter as the different worlds of Carmen and George collide with one another.
